Sour golden ale aged in an oak foudre for 12 months with High Goose Farm (VT) black currants, fermented with Brattleboro wild mixed culture. 5.7% abv.

We adore the rich tannin content of these local black currants, and using the native yeast which the peels carry from High Goose Farm allows us to introduce a fantastic, light-but-funky Brett profile to support the fruit. The use of fresh fruit allows our wild mixed culture yeast to shine and compliment the fruit, instead of one masking the other.
